The Farm Market is Your Doorway to the Bounty of Our Farm

The Farm Market is the focal point of everything retail at Sam Mazza’s Family Farm. As you approach our front doors, depending on the season of the year, you’ll be tempted by the fruits of our harvest from May through October when the covered patio becomes a seven day a week Farmer’s Market (see our Fresh Produce page). In the fall, the Farm Market carries a full line of Pumpkins, Gourds, Corn Stalks, colorful Mums and Autumn Decorations. During the Holiday season, you’ll find fresh cut Vermont Christmas Trees, hand-decorated Wreaths and Garlands and in the Spring, a full line of Yard & Garden Supplies fills the patio and even spills out onto the edges of the south parking lot.

Here’s a quick tour of the inside of the Farm Market. As you enter the door, on the right side of the room you’ll find a wide selection of Candles, Gifts and Collectibles. Our Home Decor items, Gifts and Collectibles displays change with the seasons and are a colorful and creative addition to the Farm Market. There are shelves of fancy and standard planters and gardening supplies at the right rear of the store. To the rear of the market, you’ll find our Cider Donuts and a large, well-stocked bakery case, home made Fudge and fresh Bread displays. Our seven day a week Bakery is located at the rear of the store where head baker Frank Peters and his brother Kevin make all the delectable treats we sell (See our Bakery Page). Our dairy and frozen food cases stretch along the left wall where you’ll find a variety of Vermont-made cheeses, Meats and Cold Drinks and some staples like milk, eggs and whipped cream (for our strawberry shortcakes). The frozen food cases hold Island Ice Cream, our own Mazza Family Meatballs and Meat Pies, our own Quiche and usually fresh frozen Strawberries.

There is a Fine Wine department located at the left rear of the market with an extensive selection of imported and Vermont-made wines. And on the floor between the Garden Supplies and the Coolers on the left wall, there are many island displays packed with Vermont and Specialty Food items that will delight any palate. From Salsa & Chips, Jams & Jellies, Italian Pasta Sauces, Soups, Crackers and much much more, we take great pride in the line of Specialty Foods we have brought together under one roof.

On the left side of the store is the entrance to our three main Greenhouses. There are a total of 17 greenhouses on the farm with over 100,000 square feet of heated growing space. You’ll find a breathtaking array of seasonal flowers and plants available in our greenhouses from the row after row of beautiful hanging baskets, perennials and vegetable transplants of late Spring to Mums in the Fall, Poinsettias for the Holidays and Houseplants year round.

Just to the left of the front door, you’ll find a seasonal gift display and to the left of the Greenhouse entrance, we feature a whole wall jam-packed with Vermont Honey, Vermont Maple Syrup and Maple Candy, the most popular and sweetest of all Vermont-made food products. There is a variety of Sizes & Grades of Vermont Maple Syrup.

We cordially invite you to visit the Sam Mazza Family Farm Market to experience the Very Best of the Four Seasons of Vermont.
